The skilled and caring medical staff responds to the physical, social and emotional needs of each resident. Extensive medical superintendency is provided by the Facility’s physician staff in such diverse areas as rehabilitation services, diagnostic and radiology services, psychiatric and psychological care, dental and ophthalmology care, podiatry services, cardiology evaluations and treatment, and neurological testing. On-site rejuvenating clinics provide residents the convenience of wieldy specialty medical care. Should inpatient hospital superintendency be necessary, residents are transferred to the nearby Nassau University Medical Center, one of the finest teaching hospitals in the region, united with the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System or to the hospital of choice.
